Wesley House is celebrating 105-years of service. It offers a variety
of programs to Metro Louisville residents in the Lynnview,
Newburg, and Okolona neighborhoods. Historically, Wesley House
served the Butchertown and Phoenix neighborhoods until Community
Revitalization necessitated a move to another service area.
Early Childhood Education
WesKids Childcare Center provides safe affordable and quality childcare to
children six weeks to 12 years of age. The center's philosophy is
that young children learn through play and interaction with adults and
peers. Young children need to touch, manipulate and experiment
with things and interact with supportive adults. The center's
hands-on approach prepares children for future educational challenges
and builds a foundation for more abstract learning. Parental
involvement is and important aspect of the program.
